Lansing Shooting, Fireworks Incident at Lansing Mall, DELTA TOWNSHIP, MICH. — A fireworks-related incident at the Lansing Mall on Saturday prompted a significant police response and forced authorities to urge the public to avoid the area while the situation was investigated.
According to the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office, someone discharged fireworks inside the main entrance of the Lansing Mall located at 5330 W Saginaw Highway near Elmwood Road. The incident occurred on June 27, 2026, drawing immediate attention from law enforcement due to the disruption and potential safety concerns.
Deputies confirmed that no suspect is currently in custody. However, investigators stated that they do have video footage of a person believed to be involved in the incident. Authorities have not released further details about the suspect as the investigation remains active.
