Born on October 16, 2012, Jackson was known by those who loved him for his energetic personality, kindness, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
Jackson was the son of Shanea Davlin and Matthew Jacoby. He was also lovingly raised by Robert Moreno, whom he considered his dad and who played an important role in his life. Family members describe Jackson as a child with a big personality, a quick sense of humor, and a heart that touched everyone around him.
He was preceded in death by Robert Moreno, his beloved “brown dad,” along with his aunt Kathy and his papa, whom Jackson loved visiting. His family remembers those who passed before him as people who held a special place in Jackson’s heart and who will continue to be remembered alongside him.
Jackson is survived by his mother, Shanea; his father, Matthew (Brittany); his sisters, Elena, Allijaye, and Harper; his brothers, Trenton and Remington; grandparents Rodney (Lacey) Davlin, Teresa Davlin, Bobby (Vicki) Jacoby, Evelyn Samora, and Tammy Amick; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him.
Those who knew Jackson said he was someone who was easy to love. He was remembered for his playful attitude, his humor, and his ability to bring happiness to those around him. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working on projects, fixing things, and collecting items he thought others would appreciate.
In honor of Jackson’s memory, his family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to causes that were meaningful to him, including The Ranger Community Quarter Store or Food for Thought.
