Jaquan Holley-Grisham Obituary, ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Police Department is investigating the death of Jaquan Holley-Grisham, a man who died after falling from a high-rise apartment building in downtown Rochester early Friday morning.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched to the E.L. Tower apartment complex on South Avenue at approximately 7:00 a.m. following reports that an individual had fallen from a significant height. When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found Holley-Grisham in the parking area suffering from severe traumatic injuries.

Emergency medical personnel provided immediate aid before transporting him to Strong Memorial Hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts by medical staff, he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Police confirmed that Holley-Grisham fell from the 17th floor of the E.L. Tower building, which is the highest residential level of the high-rise. Investigators noted that the incident occurred at a significant height, resulting in fatal injuries upon impact.

At this stage of the investigation, Rochester police have stated that there is no indication of criminal activity connected to the fall. Detectives are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the incident to better understand what led to the tragedy.
